His initial experience with resin evolved from his earlier years as a wooden boat owner. Epoxy resin is typically used for coating, and is a popular exterior coat for surfboards. For painting, Nicholas uses this high gloss resin as the actual medium by infusing the resin with color then using the color infused resin to create his work. Over the years he has developed techniques and tools that set his work apart from others. His specialty has become waves and fluid-based abstracts which provide a tranquil and calming quality to his work. These are must see paintings of great depth and color! He also frequently paints trees which symbolizes the many different characters he has met along his artistic journey.
Since Nick was formerly a licensed contractor and learned early how to work with his hands, he has the ability to build his own panels. Therefore, he can produce just about any size or configuration a client desires. If you are interested in a unique commission piece or a piece that resembles a previous work with some desired modifications, contact him with the dimensions and colors desired and he can create your vision.
